Councillor Obaida Ahmed, Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Community, said: “It’s great that more and more residents are taking control of their health and wellbeing with WV Active.
“It already offers fantastic value, with membership starting at just £13.20 per month, and we’re delighted to be making it even more rewarding for new customers who join us before 18 March.
“As a WV Active member, you get unlimited access to all 3 of our leisure centres and can take your pick from over 180 exercise classes. And whether you want to work out in the gym, take to the courts or running track, have fun with your family in one of the swimming pools or just relax in a cafe, you can shape each and every visit around what you want to do.”
Thanks to the council’s track record of managing its money well, combined with a positive financial settlement from Government, it has been able to invest in initiatives like this, and in other priority areas for the city’s residents.
