People who want to quit smoking in Wolverhampton will soon be able to get cutting edge support at their fingertips.

The City of Wolverhampton Council is piloting QuitCoach AI, a stop smoking assistant powered by artificial intelligence available through WhatsApp and available to people living or working in Wolverhampton.

Over the next few months, smokers will be approached to sign up for free stop smoking support through QuitCoach AI, and will also be offered quit aids such as vapes and nicotine replacement therapy.

Other help is already on hand for people who want to quit. Live Well Wolverhampton provides free support for adults living in Wolverhampton including a 12 week, tailored behavioural support plan and a vape starter kit or nicotine replacement therapy. To access support, call or text ‘QUIT’ to 07378 768046 or visit Stop Smoking Support in Wolverhampton.

Also available in Wolverhampton is Swap to Stop, a world first, Government backed scheme that provides a free vape starter kit and vape liquid, along with 12 weeks of behavioural support from trained advisors at convenient local community venues. Vaping is a proven, less harmful alternative for adult smokers who want to quit smoking and, when combined with support, is one of the most effective ways to stop.
