Adult Education hosts annual Careers Fair

Adult Education Wolverhampton and Jobchange are joining forces to hold a Careers Fair on Tuesday (19 May, 2026).

It will take place at the Foyer Building, Old Hall Street WV1 3AU from 10am to 2pm.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet directly with local employers who are actively recruiting for roles in Wolverhampton, as well as education sector recruiters offering opportunities within schools and learning centres.

A wide range of training providers will also be present to support visitors in developing new skills or starting an apprenticeship, alongside health and social care organisations with current job vacancies.

Course advisors will be on hand to provide guidance on qualifications that may help boost career prospects and earning potential, while volunteer organisations will be offering pathways to gain experience and build confidence. Also on the day, members of the Service User Improvement Team, SUIT, will be offering free Fibro liver scans from 11am.

Leader of the City of Wolverhampton Council, Councillor Stephen Simkins, said: “The Careers Fair is your chance to discover new opportunities and start taking those exciting next steps toward your future career.

“Whether you’re a professional, recent graduate, or just looking for new options, the Careers Fair is the perfect place to see what is available in the local job market.”

Entry is free and all are welcome.
