Armed Forces Day is on Saturday 27 June, from 12pm until 4pm, at West Park and will be packed with activities for people of all ages.
The event includes live music, military themed activities, fairground rides, street food, motorcycle displays, a shooting range, and more, with the Armed Forces Parade at 1pm.
City of Wolverhampton’s Mayor, Councillor Paul Singh, said: “Armed Forces Day is a key occasion in our civic calendar and gives us a valuable opportunity to come together as a city and acknowledge the commitment, bravery and service of our Armed Forces personnel, both past and present.
“Wolverhampton has a strong and enduring connection with the military community, and I encourage residents to join us in West Park for what promises to be an enjoyable and meaningful day of celebrations.”
Council Leader, Councillor Stephen Simkins, added: “We are proud to host another vibrant Armed Forces Day in Wolverhampton, bringing residents of all ages together to celebrate and learn more about our Armed Forces.
“With the Parade and a wide range of free activities on offer, it promises to be an enjoyable day for all while giving people the opportunity to show their appreciation.”
